More than symbiosis - Artistic dialogue in Moganshan
"More than symbiosis" originates from the symbiotic phenomenon in natural ecology, but it is not just a presentation of traditional coexistence. This time, we tried to further explore how art can break through the boundaries of symbiosis, find more multi-dimensional interactions and connections, and explore how art can transcend the limitations of time and space in Moganshan, a place with profound historical and natural significance, and show a deeper and broader cross-border dialogue.
On the basis of symbiosis, "More than symbiosis" means that artists are not only satisfied with coexisting with nature and culture, but actively respond to, challenge and reconstruct these relationships, and finally break boundaries through works to form new artistic expressions. The exhibition unfolds between the mountains and waters of Moganshan, continuing the ancient literati's thinking on the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, while giving it a new contemporary context. Through this exhibition, more than a dozen artists, with their unique creative methods and keen visual expressions, inspire viewers to have new thoughts on artistic transcendence above symbiosis, verify the balanced integration between self, nature, and art, or explore, or heal, or express, or narrate straightforwardly, all of which are harmonious and authentic, all of which are "more than symbiosis".
