十多年来，李月领一直以孩子作为自己的创作主题，对他来说，孩子是普通又非凡的存在，他们既是生命的开始，又是人类的过去、现在和未来，人们日后成长以及意识形态的转变，都源自儿时的纯真和对美好的憧憬。
而每一个孩子的背后，又都是一个个鲜活而真实的故事和历经沧桑的家庭，有让人泪目的感动，亦有绝望之后新的希望。这些种种无不深深打动着艺术家的心，促使他将这些孩子的形象、故事呈现在自己的作品之中。

李月领画笔下的每个孩子，都是采风所到之处的亲眼所见，他用丰满富有张力的构图，大笔触细结构，干净统一的块状三维色彩，描绘发自内心来自天然的情与真，将同一片天空下不同孩子的生活带到这充满距离感的繁华都市。用画布上那稚嫩美好的面孔，清澈明亮的眸子唤起于车水马龙中穿梭的我们掩藏于心底深处的爱与关怀。

In the past ten years, Li Yueling has been focusing on children in his art creations.
Li Yueling believes that children have the potentials to do extraordinary things. They are our past, present, and future. Anything we've believed and dreamed of in our childhood will be fundamental as we grow up. These beliefs will be our strength and should be theirs.
There are touching stories behind every works Li Yueling created, and it is the real people and vivid scenes that are behind these stories. There are pain and desperation, and there are joy and hope. None of the works he made will be possible without these feelings.
Using colors and strokes, Li Yueling brought lights and hopes in these children's eyes to us who live in cities with powerful geometrical pixels. Hopefully, in these clear and pure eyes, you may find traces of yourself, your love, and care that are gradually passed into silence in this fast-paced society.
